We traveled to El Yunque National Rainforest in Puerto Rico. First off, the place is huge. Depending on where you enter you can see totally different things. A word of advice, DO NOT PAY TO ENTER THE VISTOR'S CENTER! It is literally a few shops and some info. You actually drive to see all of the parts of the rainforest. There are many stops along the way, but I highly recommend taking a dip in the waterfalls, it really gives the best memories

Transportation

Puerto Rico
Do not drive down the center of the island, ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT! The road is very curvy, has a lot of ditches and cliff faces. My car fell into a ditch 4 times on my way from the south to the north. All of my family members who lived there told me not to go that way, but I didnt listen, and I regret it.

Points of interest

Fajardo Ferry Terminal
THE FAJARDO FERRY TERMINAL TO TAKE YOU TO THE NEXT ISLAND IS LITERALLY THE BIGGEST RIPOFF ON THE WHOLE ISLAND! DO NOT TRY TO GO ON THIS FERRY! THEY SELL OUT OF TICKETS BUT LET YOU KEEP PAYING TO ENTER THE PARKING LOT, JUST TO HAVE TO LEAVE! TOTAL SCAM!

Restaurants

Guavate
This is a place you have to go to if you are in Puerto Rico. This is real Puerto Ricans making real Puerto Rican food. Good music, good drinks, good time.
