Japan has a convenient yet excessive amount of passes to look into.
To get around Tokyo we purchased a Tokyo 72-hour metro pass for 1500yen (about $13). Although it wouldn’t cover every train ride to get to specific places we wanted it did cover most.
From Toyosu Market our next stop was Shinjuku Station. There we purchased a 3-day Fuji-Hakone Pass for 8000 yen (about $71) that we would activate once leaving Tokyo for Mount Fuji. It’s only sold at the Odakyu Sightseeing Service Center at Shinjuku Station so we figured we would get it while heading to Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden.
