Paryatan Parv. I could not have asked for a better introduction into Indian culture, food, and community than walking into this massive domestic tourism festival happening in Delhi the week we arrived. Countless street performers wandered the festival with organized dances, puppet shows, acrobatics, costumes, and more. The stages were always full with performers from different regions and peoples from around the nation. And the entire length of the lawns were lined with food vendors organized by region of food origin. It was by far the best way to get a grasp of some of the cuisine and a starting place for the next two months in India.
