Seattle is one of our fun places to visit so I guess it is on our favorite list. You haven’t visited Seattle if you haven’t spent time around Pike Place Market and the waterfront. There is so much to see and do and don’t forget the delicious seafood. Now that I got that out of the way let’s talk about Starbucks. Everyone thinks and it’s touted as the first and original Starbucks but the Starbucks at 1912 Pike Place is NOT, I repeat is NOT, the original Starbucks Coffee restaurant. The original Starbucks Restaurant founded in March 1971 was located at 2000 Western Ave in Seattle. 2000 Western Ave is now part of Steinbrueck Park and there is nothing left of the original building. Starbucks moved a few blocks to 1912 Pike Place in 1976 and is advertised as the “Original Starbucks.” Sorry to have burst anyone’s bubble. Hahahahaha!
Pike Place Market
Advertisements may not be correct about this being the original but it's still fun to visit
