My partner loves any form of transportation - airplane, monorail, and especially trains. So the Nuremberg Transport Museum was like a dream come true for him. They have trains from all different eras, dating back to the 1835s (the first picture). They also have trains from today, including the bullet trains that are frequently used across Europe. They also have a very well preserved locomotive that was the first of its kind in Germany, and cars from the train used to transport Bavarian kings. It cost 6 euros to get in, and obviously this museum isn't for everyone, but if you have an interest in this kind of stuff, it is definitely a cool spot.
