One of the highlights of a week long trip to Paris was a morning spent at Notre Dame. The cathedral is fabulous. We took our time wandering through the inside and looking at everything. There was an exhibit showing Notre Dame through the ages during construction. Then we waited in line and climbed the tower. If you have the Paris Museum Pass, climbing the tower at Notre Dame is free. What an experience! We were able to see the gargoyles up close and marvel at the individual attitudes each of them had. And the views over the city were far reaching. We were able to pick out the Pantheon, the Eiffel Tower, Sacre Couer, the Lovre, and Pompidou. Afterwards, we bought crepes and ate lunch sitting in the park behind the cathedral.
