We walked all around the Ile de la Cite, passing my Place Dauphine and Place St. Michel, until we finally reached the Cathedrale de Notre Dame. The exterior of this Gothic church is just incredible, with so many intricate figures and gargoyles. The inside is very somber, vast and hollow compared to to the outside. After visiting the church, we took the metro to Place de la Concorde. This is where the "grandest walk in Paris" starts, 2 miles to the Arc de Triomphe. We walked down the Champs-Elysees and reached the Arc de Triomphe, which is beautiful. Lots of shops and a great place to walk around!
