During most of our visits (my buddy and I) to Baja California we would spend a lot of time on his car restoration projects. We would ask for recommendations as to where to have different parts of the project work done. We were looking for a "shop" to get some chrome work done. Our friend and auto body guy, Joaquin, recommended a shop but he would have to show us how to get there. We headed out and up into the hills of TJ. As we were driving the paved road ended and then it wasn't much of a road at all. We were in a residential area and then suddenly we headed down a small dirt road/trail, good thing we were in a four wheel drive vehicle. When we got to the chrome shop I couldn't believe that it was a place of business. Looks are sometimes deceiving, the chrome work came out surprisingly nice. Who would've thought.
