Not Quite in Bloom

Bronxville, NY, United States
24 Kudos
Bronxville, NY is one of those towns you wouldn't visit unless you intended to - as far as travelers are concerned, it gets swallowed up and passed over as a bedroom community for people commuting to New York City. But Bronxville has plenty of charm all its own! I was unfortunately a little too soon to catch all the callery pear trees in full bloom; they line one side of the train station and when the blossoms are all out, it's absolutely gorgeous. No matter what time of year it is, though, there are plenty of dinner options in town that are worth trying. Might I suggest Haiku, Il Bacio, or Ernie's Wine Bar?

It's about a half hour from here to Grand Central.

Haiku Asian Bistro
They have a couple of locations locally, and all are amazing.
Ernie’s Wine Bar + EATS
Clearly a passion project, the vibes here are as great as the food and wine.
Rosie's Bistro Italiano
A little more upscale than Il Bacio, and their food is likewise amazing.
Il Bacio Trattoria
Their bolognese is :chef's kiss: beautiful, as is their spaghetti & meatballs.

A delicious, independent coffee shop whose 90's roots show through.
