Another day, another state capitol story. This time, in Raleigh, North Carolina. This building isn't one of the biggest that I've seen, but it is still impressive and well maintained. Back in the day, it housed the Governor and the state legislative assemblies, but it now only houses the Governor and their staff. The building is open to the public six days a week (closed Sundays) and admission is free, which is always a plus. We opted for the self guided tour, as we could go at our own pace, but there was a guided tour available on the hour.
