During my visit to the tiny town of Denmark, KS, I decided to visit the Danish Lutheran Church. It was closed, but I was able to take some photographs of the exterior. You can see those photographs in my previous story. The remote location of the church makes it even more striking. While standing in the church cemetery, you can see miles of rolling prairie and crop land. Lincoln County, along with adjacent areas of North Central Kansas, has a subtle beauty all of its own. It might lack mountains and canyons, but it is not pancake flat either. This area features a most pleasant rolling topography that I always enjoy driving through.
