Ever since I was little, one of my goals was to visit every state and its capitol. I'm only about halfway there, but I feel like I'm making good progress. Not too long ago, we were able to visit Lincoln, the capitol of Nebraska. The city has a very impressive capitol building for a midwestern state. The tower is 400 feet high, one of the tallest buildings for hundreds of miles. It towers over absolutely everything else in the city and really stands prominent. You can take tours of the building every day of the week, and one fun fact we learned while we were there was that the building cost $10 million back in the 1930s, which I can't even imagine what that would cost in 2019.
