National Monument to King Victor

00176 Rome, Metropolitan City of Rome, Italy
16 Kudos
The Victor Emmanual II National Monument is Rome is called the Vittoriano. This national monument was built to pay tribute to the first king of unified Italy. We stumbled upon this impressive monument while walking from our hotel to the Roman Forum. It is really hard to miss if you are in the area and definitely deserves some of your time. We noticed a lot of people just walking by on their way to the more famous Forum and Colloseum, and they really missed out. This monument is massive and beautiful. If it isn’t on your list of things to see while you are in Rome, you should definitely add it!
