Nashville, TN, United States
3 Kudos
Nashvegas, right? We spent a long family weekend in Nashville for the solar eclipse, and despite the name, there's still things to do with the kiddos in tow. First off, Nashville boasts a ton of great food. There were too many restaurants to try for just 4 days. Just know that many of the Southern style spots are only open Monday-Friday during lunch hours, plan ahead! If you want to try the famous Nashville hot chicken, head to Hattie B's or Bolton's, but be prepared to wait. If you have an extra day, I really recommend heading out to J Percy Priest Reservoir, just to the east of the city. The water is beautiful, and we had a great lake day and a killer view to enjoy the eclipse on Monday!

Couldn't get the location in Nashville to pull up correctly on here, but we stopped in for breakfast and were very happy with the food!
An eclectic decor draws you in, normal chain-style Mexican food and drink.
Bolton's Spicy Chicken & Fish
Hot chicken and fish! Don't underestimate the spice, and BYOB.

Nashville Farmers' Market
Houses Jenni's Splendid Ice Cream, tons of small restaurants, and an actual farmer's market and something of flea market outside.
