When I was planning our honeymoon in Turkey, I left no stone unturned. I know a lot of people like to be more spontaneous and let the chips fall where they may, but I knew there was a good chance I'd never make it back, so I planned our trip down to the minute. Well, I wasn't THAT obsessive, but I did go as far as to make reservations at a few restaurants before we boarded our first plane.
One of the reservations I made was at Ziggy's in Cappadocia. It touts itself as "a contemporary cafe in an ancient region," and this is entirely accurate. It's built into a stone building and has a wonderful terrace. It was a little chilly the night we were there so we were seated inside, and while I was disappointed not to enjoy the amazing view of the area, the interior is intimate and romantic. We ordered the Mezes tasting menu, and it was so, so good.
If I ever do perchance go back to Cappadocia, I will happily make another reservation at Ziggy's.
