Alexander Pushkin, a Russian Nobel, was born in May 1799 and died in February 1837. This statue of Pushkin sitting on a bench looking bored is located in Lyceum Gharden in Tsarskoyeo Selo, Russia just outside the gates of Catherine Palace. Tsarskyoe Selo is outside of St Petersburg and home to many beautiful places such as Catherine Palace, Catherine Park, Alexander Palace, Alexander Garden and more. Even with the rain there was a very large crowd with the entrance line to Catherine Palace extending down the street quite a ways. This crowd made it difficult to get the full picture of the statue from the front.
