We took a tour of the winery and cellars of the famed high end champagne maker Moët et Chandon in Épernay. It took about an hour. The tour was very good and it was a great chance for us to learn about the history of champagne wine. The history about the Moët house was also interesting. The cellars down there in the house was so impressive. Moët et Chandon is undoubtedly one of the world's largest and the most famous champagne makers. Moët et Chandon was established in 1743 which was an abbey where monk Dom Perignon had worked on developing champagne wine. The wine maker Moët et Chandon and other luxury brand like Hennessy Cognac and Louis Vuitton have been merged together as one luxurious brand company Louis-Vuitton-Moët-Hennessy.
