I started my trip to Eastern Europe in Milan because as some people may not know, Milan is one of the cheapest entry points in central Europe; at least from New York. We only stayed one night, but had about a day and a half. This was plenty to see the main sights and have a sampling of the food, which is what I love most about Italy. The nightlife, specifically Aperitivo, is amazing and had such a blast. See my other post about that. I wasn't expecting much from Milan when reading about it, but wish I had given it more of a chance. I ended taking a 2nd night off this city and added it to Prague, but wish I didn't. As much as I love Prague, this was a worthwhile stop. Excellent public transportation between the underground and trams.
