While on a road trip through the Mexican desert, we googled "breakfast" and ended up at La Esquina. It was astoundingly Americanized, with everyone around us speaking English. That's not to say it wasn't good. Breakfast was delicious and satisfying, albeit a bit more expensive than we had become accustomed to spending in Mexico. The layout was also nice and spacious, with plenty of courtyard seating. Dogs roamed around the restaurant, and we felt very relaxed by the end of our meal. Considering that we ended up there by random googling with a faint phone signal, we were happy. It was a nice stop on our desert road trip.
