Since 1938, Marineland has lured visitors with the wonders of the sea. As the world’s first oceanarium and marine park, and an underwater filming studio, movies like “Creature from the Black Lagoon” and “Sea Hunt” were filmed here, but Marineland has always been a conservation and education facility.
Today, the park is an interactive dolphin encounter and education facility that offers a variety of programs for ages 3 to adult. Programs range from poolside touch and feel to a full deep-water immersion where you can swim with dolphins.
All programs include an educational component so participants will understand basic dolphin encounter etiquette, dolphin anatomy and behavior and the challenges dolphins face in the wild.
Even if you don’t participate in one of the programs, it’s fun to be so close to these amazing creatures.
