We saw the magnificent Town Hall building in the heart of the city of Manchester. The Manchester Town Hall is a Victorian style, Neo-gothic municipal building located in Manchester, England. It is the ceremonial headquarters of Manchester City Council and houses a number of local government departments. It was designed by the architect Alfred Waterhouse and was completed in 1877. We were told that it was soon going to be totally renovated so for those that are planning to visit will be very disappointed This is one fabulous piece of architecture and we are so grateful to have seen it before its closure.
