Flying out of Italy near the northern border, we found ourselves on Air Italia at Malpensa Airport. As technology adapts and changes so quickly, we were not certain as to what we would find at this, a new airport for us. Arriving at the airport with ample time for security lines, passport control and everything we need to fly back to the United States, we had already digitally downloaded our boarding passes having checked in the night before. Still, we found ourselves waiting on a 20 minute line to get printed boarding passes and have luggage checked on. A little surprise!
