Luxor Temple!

Luxor, Luxor Governorate, Egypt
6 Kudos
Located on the East Bank of the Nile, Luxor temple is a large temple you should visit. Luxor has several temples around and this one is one of my favorite places during my visit in the region. One of the noticeable feature of the temple are the statues of Ramese the great. From the courtyard of the temple you can also see the mosque Abu Al Hallaj. This temple made news severals years ago when a Chinese tourist defaced a sculpture here. Definitely an unfortunate event when these sites should be respected specially by tourists. Despite that, I noticed that there isn't much security around, but it is still packed with lots of visitors. Make sure to spend some time here.
