Love to READ at local libraries!

Victoria, BC, Canada
0 Kudos
We visited a couple libraries during our month-long stay in Victoria. The Saanich Centennial Branch on Tillicum was very close to where we stayed, so we tried that one out first. Super cute kids area with computers, toys, puppet show essentials, a neat story time area, and lots and lots of great kids' books. You can pay $20 Canadian and get a month-long membership to the local libraries to check out up to 60 books at a time. We got the membership because homeschoolers gotta have their books! They hold scheduled story times for toddlers and have an active events calendar for kids of all ages. After one visit to the library we explored the really neat trails that spread out behind the building. Great for biking or walking and exploring nature.
