Sometimes art just speaks to us. Walking through the city of Boston with my spouse, we came across this darling portrayal of a line of ducklings crossing in front of the walking path that we were on – reminiscent of the painting or concept of a policeman holding up traffic for a Mamma duck leading her duckling brood across the busy lanes of traffic. I’m not sure where the image or concept originated, but it is not hard to find in Boston. We even ended up buying a painting like this. The best part of the sculptures though – the brass ducks are shiny where everyone has rubbed their little heads!
