Our tour guide gave us free time for the rest of the evening, so I decided to check out the Ljubljana Castle with the dragon on top as it's probably the most iconic thing to do in downtown. I decided to just buy a roundtrip funicular ride to the top of the castle. There was a museum entrance fee which I opted not to purchase because I didn't have much time. However, without purchasing the museum entrance, people are free to roam around the castle grounds. I enjoyed a beautiful bird's eye view of the city from the top of this built in 11-12th century castle.
