One thing that I did not know its existence, but pleasantly surprised to find was Milan’s canals. The canals are located in southern district of Milan. I visited there after dark which is the right time to visit there as the canal area was so vibrant and beautifully lit. On either side of the canal, there are endless rows of bars, restaurants and unique shops. I found it interesting that the canal was built because of transporting marbles used for construction of the Duomo. There are some boat filled with tourists. The canal area looks somewhat like Venice or somewhat like Riverwalk in San Antonio. It surely is an interesting place in Milan to visit after dark.
