King Sejong Memorial Hall

Seoul, South Korea

Located on the Gwanghwamun Square, right next to the Gwanghwamun Gate, King Sejong Memorial Hall is a great place to introduce yourself to Korean history. There you can learn about King Sejong the Great, how he created the Korean alphabet Hangul and his role in Korea's evolution. You can also visit the other part of the exhibition to learn about Admiral Yi Sun-sin and his turtle battleships. It even has a replica of a turtle battleship. It's one of the lesser known and smaller museums, it will take you only about 40 minutes to explore it but it definitely will keep you entertained.
