Rome–Fiumicino International Airport is one of the busiest in Europe, so we planned plenty of time to travel there and get through customs. They were amazing at moving people, which meant we had plenty of time to hang out before catching our flight back to the states. I always travel with an e-reader and love to read, so it was no problem for me at all! We even picked up a local beer to help pass the time, which was nice since we had mostly had wine with our meals in the city. Books plus beer is always a nice way to end a vacation!
