The New Train Station of Kenitra, or the Nouvelle Gatr Kenitra, is a fine place to spend a layover between Fes and other cities like Tangier, but there are a few things you should know. First of all, you might have a t Train Nader here and if you do it is very likely that you will be transferring between two very different types of trains. The first resembles the TGV type of train that feels very much like you are in France. The second is a very local-ish train where second class means something very different. You will still have your own seats but you will be in a little car with eight seats, oriented the opposite way that you would usually sit on a train. People are very concerned with having the correct seat, and there is less space for luggage than you might have expected based on the other trains. Also the bathrooms are really terrible, although one of the only places I’ve gone in Morocco that has toilet paper! I won’t describe them anymore, but suffice to say that it might be worth the extra few bucks to go first class.
