I have a goal to visit as many Christmas markets in Germany as possible. I have a few friends who live in Kassel, so when I visited them before Christmas, they were nice enough to take me to the Kassel Christmas Market. Each German Christmas market seems to have their dominant features that they pride themselves on, and it seems that in Kassel they have gone for having the biggest Christmas pyramid. Photos don't do it justice, as it really is beautiful in real life. My friends also brought me by their favorite Christmas market stand, which was the Swedish drink stand. I loved the Swedish hot chocolate!
Friedrichsplatz is one of the squares where the Kassel Christmas market is located. Fun!
Königsplatz is one of the squares where the Christmas market is located. Definitely a fun visit!
