My 8 year old loves shrimp and she ordered two pieces of jumbo shrimp cocktail at Benjamin Prime in New York City on Christmas Day. Each shrimp was $6.50 so I capped it at two. Benjamin Prime had a Christmas prix fixe meal for $85 per person but children could order a pasta dish for about $25, which was overpriced for what it was. She loved the shrimp but did not care for the pasta. After she gobbled up her shrimp, of course she asked for more. I said no and instructed her to eat her $25 pasta dish. Both of my kids did not finish their pasta but we saved it for dinner on another night thanks to the full size fridge in our hotel room.
