Since there are so many points of interest in Dublin & this was our first visit, we began by riding in the upper level of the City-Hopper Dublin City tour bus which runs all day with unlimited hops on & off for one ticket price. The driver described points of interest and stopped at each for anyone who wanted to get off/on the bus.
After our initial riding tour, we selected a tour of the Guinness Storehouse. The reasonably priced entrance fee included a guided tour, a lesson in how to pour the perfect pint of Guinness, and one Guinness beer.
Later we concluded our first day with dinner and music at the Temple Bar and a nice long walk back to Buswells Hotel on Moleworth Street.
On the second day, we purchased Rambler 3-day city bus tickets that allowed unlimited travel by bus for 3 consecutive days for 14.20 Euros, and we took our time visiting many sites which included St. Patrick's Cathedral and Christ Church Cathedral.
