Jackson Square is a public park in downtown New Orleans. If you are wandering around the French Quarter, or looking for Cafe Du Monde, chances are you will come across Jackson Square. It is a beautiful park in the midst of the craziness of New Orleans. It is a historic place, and we learned while we were there that it was the place were the Louisiana Purchase was made. Towering over the park is St. Louis Cathedral, one of New Orleans' most famous monuments. When we were there, the spring flowers were just starting to bloom, making for great photo opportunities.
