Turns out that the activities on the Royal Caribbean's cruises really depend on the cruise ship itself. Each cruise ship has its unique space for various activities- the newer the ship the more sophisticated activities you may find. We were pretty pleased with the Mariner of the Seas' water activities for the children. They really dedicated lots of space (almost the entire two highest decks on the ship) for the pools, water slides, water games, and plenty of chairs to seat outside feel the breeze and enjoy the water view. We were also told that in Coco Cay (their private beach) they are building a giant water park. The entrance fee will be separated from the cost of the cruise. I am assuming they will offer bundle deals for guests.
