Lacu Roșu is a small village near the famous Red Lake (which is also known as Killer Lake) in Transylvania's Harghita County. It is located right between two major Romanian tourist attractions, the Red Lake and the Bicaz Gorge. Lots of locals and tourists alike flock to the area to discover the wonderful gorge and the marvelous lake, and obviously get hungry for traditional Romanian food after their explorations. Terasa Ardealul is the perfect place to enjoy some inexpensive yet tasty Romanian food staples such as Mics (meat rolls) or a hearty Ciorba (sour soup). Prices are very modest, and the portions are huge.
