The name Ibiza is often used to refer to the island as a whole or the town within. In this case I am speaking of the town. It is the most populous on the island with around 50k residents, and that population swells in the summer tourist months. The sidewalks buzz with life at night, as there are many restaurants, bars, clubs, and patrons. Folks of all ages seem to enjoy the pleasant atmosphere and respite from the mid-day heat which the evening offers. Folks around here were pretty friendly in our experience, though we did not stick around terribly long but rather were passing through.
