Seasons can matter. June 1 through November 30 every calendar year is not the typical 'Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall', rather it is Hurricane Season in the Atlantic Ocean basin. Scores of these massive low pressure storms suck up energy from the warm ocean waters beneath, and are blown by prevailing winds in general directions - sometimes making landfall over Florida, Texas, or Cape Hattaras. However, every once in a while the tiny island nation of Bermuda will be in the sights of one of these monsters, and they've got preparations down cold. Must admit - there was no where I felt safer!
