Our failed attempt at fishing in Rice Lake led us to Earl, WI where we were chasing the Namekagon River. Namekagon River is a 100 miles long river that run through Northern Wisconsin's landscape and forest. There are activities here such as canoeing and kayaking. There are shallow area on this river too but with the way it looks, it's unknown what is actually shallow so we stay by the shore and fish only. Saw a few people kayak by, they seem to have a great day as it was cool and cloudy. Once again, no success in fishing beside the very tiny fish my husband got that we let go.
