We wanted to take a day of relaxing and heard of the Tabacon Hot Springs. This was just what the doctor ordered. We were told to go to this resort and found a location on the side of the road where we could enter. Just park and generously tip the parking attendant and he will let you walk down. Make sure to bring or wear your swimsuit, a towel for drying off, and maybe a change of clothes. Don't bother paying for a hot spring resort pass. Many of the locals go here to relax and drink. Everyone was respectful to each other and pretty much keep to themselves. We made small talk with some friendly people as we relaxed in the hot pool. The are is fairly clean and quiet. The water was the perfect temperature, not as hot as some hot tubs. You get to sit in a bubbling, hot rushing river amidst the rainforest.
