Hop On The Big Red Bus

08004 Barcelona, Spain
20 Kudos
Like so many other cities, the tour buses are a common sight on the streets of Barcelona. We love them! When you are in a large city for the first time, you can carry around all of the guide books and city maps in the world, but we find there is no better way to get a lay of the land than buying a ticket and taking a tour on the big red bus. When we start our ride, we usually try to catch the bus at its first stop, that way it’s not already filled with other tourists. It’s important to grab a set of earphones if you don’t have a set of your own, so you can listen to an informative commentary along the route. Sometimes we sit up stairs, where the view can be much better. And, once in a while, your tour bus ticket includes a free water cruise or reduced admission to other attractions.
