My family and I went to the Historic Jamestowne during our recent vacation to Williamsburg. We had been there before, a number of years ago, and we were surprised by all the archeological digs taking place at this time. We thoroughly enjoyed talking with a young archaeologist working there, on site. The volunteers were fantastic and we had a very informative tour. We got a bit of information about the first Africans brought as slaves to North America. The display in the visitor center was also top notch. A fantastic and super informative 3+ hour stop for all of us in VA!
