The Kartano Herrgard Folisovagen Manor House is one of the main features of the Seusaraai Open-Air Museum located on Seusaraai Island which is a fascinating district of Helsinki, Finland. The Manor and all of the buildings dating back to the 17th century look as if they were originally built at this location but prior to the museums opening in 1956 the buildings were moved from different locations in Finland to this location. It was originally built for festivals and later became the museum it is today. The Manor, unfortunately it was closed the day we were visiting, is said to be decorated with furniture and fabrics dating back to when the Manor was originally built. This is a great place to spend most of a day. Watch out for the red squirrels.
