Within the city limits of Detroit (although you wouldn't know you were in the city given the surroundings), lies one of the most unique and odd places you'll ever see. The Heidelberg Project is a collection of various items arranged to resemble 'art.' The creator of the project wanted to revitalize his neighborhood, as it was deteriorating like much of the rest of Detroit. There are a lot of brightly colored houses with things attached to them, but one area was kind of disturbing, featuring weird looking dolls and baby dolls with nails through their necks. Overall, it was a fascinating sight to see, but I'm not sure I understood the art aspect of it.
