Heading to the Bank

When our excursion ended during our stop in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico I wanted to exchange some US money for Mexican Pesos before heading to Mazatlán and Puerto Vallarta. Sure you can use dollars in those locations but you get more for your money if you use pesos. The vendors/shops usually give you an exchange rate much lower so they can make money that way also when they exchange dollars to pesos. We had no idea where we could find a "Casa de Cambio" (money exchange) or a bank so we asked a bicycle taxi operator. He told us where a bank was and of course he offered to take us there, for a fee. It wasn't very expensive and we thought it would be fun so off we went to the bank. He waited outside for us and then took us back to the wharf. It was a fun little journey.
