While we were visiting Banff and Yoho National parks in Canada, we were lucky enough to stay the night in Field, BC. We probably wouldn’t have stopped if we hadn’t snagged a room there but it was so cute and the people were really awesome. It is a small town with about 200 year round residents but you can’t beat the views of the Canadian Rockies. We had a nice meal, walked around and enjoyed the river that runs through it. There is a train that runs nearby that could be irritating but I did not hear it at night. If you hike hard enough a train could run through your room and you wouldn’t know it!
