I arrived in Antwerp having had quite the spendy time in France and wanting to shave a few bucks off my daily cost of living. Well, I did that, and I think I had rather classic experience. I wandered upon a plaza that was surrounded by restaurants, a bit disappointed to find that all of them were quite pricy. however, then I saw the magical word "frituur" in the distance and knew I could not be far off. It seemed like quite an old timy and family run establishment, and one that isn't exactly the best place to go if you are sticking to a diet or trying to stave off scurvy, but a great place to go if you'd like to have a currywurst and a beer for 3.50 euros.
