We spent some time in downtown Las Vegas and so glad we did because that area had a different look and vibes. It was kids and family friendly and most of the people their were locals and not tourists. Prices were more reasonable both for dinning and attractions. More specifically, we entered the Fremont Hotel to grab something to eat and they had a lot of food choices with easy access and no lines. We mostly visited the area for the Fermont Street Experience which had shopping and entertainment. The entire area is about 20 minutes drive from the strip. If you like old school stuff and look, and feel nostalgic than this is the place for you to visit.
