I’ve never flown out of JFK before. Probably because it’s a pain in the tuchas to get to with being almost 2 and a half hours away by car. However it is pretty easy to get to by train though. You can take the New Jersey Transit to Penn Station then make a switch to the Long Island Railway to Jamaica. You then have to take an air tran to the terminal. All in all it will run you about thirty five bucks one way. If you drive you’ll pay through the nose in tolls ever since they raised the bridge tolls to New York then pay for parking. The tran ride gives you a nice view of Manhattan Island. Getting through ticketing and security was a breeze. Its nice having pre TSA check. No taking off your shoes or the human x-ray machine.
