I was in Baltimore this past weekend for a reunion and decided since my Jets were in town I would go see my first pro football game! Of course the weather wasn't the best (at kickoff it was hovering around 35 degrees with gusty winds), but I was sitting in the sun for most of the game so that helped. Though the game didn't end the way I would have liked (the Jets lost), I really enjoyed M&T Stadium. Food and drink prices seemed on par with other professional sports venues, and the fans were friendly.
After the game I headed down Russell Street to Pickles Pub, a staple for fans after Orioles games (its right across the street from Camden Yards), but wasn't too crowded on Sunday. Pickles offers your standard pub fare, from burgers to wings to pulled pork sandwiches. They also have a good selections of beers on draft and a ton of televisions to catch the game!
